January 31 2006 - Well New Updates, I officially have the only WowWee V2 Repair Shop for now, where users can order bit’s of V2, or send in their V2 to be repaired, if something broke, and they warranty has expired or you have voided your warranty... more details can be found here
V2 Hacks, well I’ve being working on interfacing my Bx-24 chip to the V2, and it has worked sucessful, now im adding the V2 tilt sensor’s and later the pot’s for the arm’s for precision movements... more info can be found here
I have being in touch with Mark Tilden and he has given me a few custom shematics, and some addition notes on the SPI interface and such, GoD I wish someone could hack this!!!!! just read below

January 12 2005 ==> some nice worker’s at WowWee were nice enough to send me a email yesterday regarding RS Media and Roboreptile!!! not to mention 2 Exclusive picture of the little buggers, thanks alot. Aswell as in the next few days I should be receiving some Robosapien V2 Robots, for spair bits, and reaplacement bits, so user’s who have went past your Warranty date, or Hackers who have opeened up their V2, and need some bits, have no fear, their is now a shop, located in my house which carries supplies, and can be shippined out across the world using many types of postage, more information will come in the next week or two, any inquiries for peices, parts email me at knitsu@gmail.com

Well Thomas Leopold has being working hard on V2 Camera Software to recognize objects, edges and a bunch of goodies, its still in early development, and you can test it out with USB Webcamera, but not the V2 webcamera in his head, as their is no driver's for that as of yetThomas says "At the moment, it 'normalizes' the picture brightness. Means: When it's dark, it increases the brightness. When it get brighter, increases the brightness less. So you always have an image with an average brightness of 128."However his program shows the original Webcamera view, and another window with the modified view, depending on what your doing with the software, it will look different. I have posted a few pictures of his Software, that he took for me, as I wasn't able to take proper pictures on my computer, but must say!!! this will most likely be the V2 program that all of us will want to download when it finally get released by Wow Wee or when a hacker, hacks the vision system
