The RoboRaptor has three main forms of external sensors, IR object detection, Touch sensors and Audio sensors. Although the tail has four seperate touch sensors, these are read as one sensor.


2 Paired IR Receivers / Transmitters - Used to detect objects that may block the raptors path when walking, the IR receivers also double as receivers for the remote.

2 Audio Sensors - Used for detecting loud noises and locating the source, also triggers behavioral responses.

2 Touch Sensors - The touch sensor under his chin and in his mouth are used for interacting with humans. They have no purpose other than to trigger behavioral responses.


4 Touch Sensor - Use for interacting with humans and triggers for behavioral responses only. These sensors appear as one to the controller.
