The Media board contains a 200MHz ARM9 with 64MB of flash RAM for the primary LINUX operating system and user files, 1 USB port, a Stereo audio plug and an SD card slot. It is responsible for all graphics and audio used by the RS Media, it's also responsible for almost all the programing features of the RS Media.

The Media board (and LCD) are interesting, they are a departure from WowWee's usual design philosophy of doing the most with the bare minimum. For that reason, I believe Emsoft was responsible for both the hardware and software.

I've indentified all the main chips on the Media board. they are
1xMC9328MXLVM20 - MX-1 Dragonball CPU
2xK4S641632K - 64Mbit SDRAM
1xKH29LV400 - 512KB Flash EEPROM (probably the bootloader)
1xCS42L51 - "Low Power Stero Codec with Headphone Amp"
1xK9F1208U0B - 64MB Flash Memory
