Its ALIVE!

Well, its all working now. Looks like I did indeed reverse the signal ordering when I wrote my notes. Still some problems though. Some of them will be simply from the fact that there is a lot of "Noise" interfering with the signals. I have, a 2.4ghz set of phones, a 2.4ghz wireless TV transmitter, a wireless network and several bluetooth devices. Thats just here in my house, who knows what my neighbors have.

The other issues I am having, I believe, are related to my using the RS Media's onboard 3.3v supply. Specifically, I noticed a lot more glitches in the RS Media when the module is connected than when it isn't. Also, the RS Media also appears to be supplying voltage on that net, even when switched off. So the module works correctly the first time it is switched on after being connected to the RS Media, but after that it won't accept a connection. I believe that this residual voltage is causing the module to get locked into a bad state that only a proper power off can resolve.

I am planning on testing it with an external 3.3v supply and see if that fixes things up. I also want to test the range on this thing. According to the spec's, I should be able to get a maximum of 100 meters, but I'll be happy if it works from one end of the house to the other.

Now that most of my bluetooth issues are resolved, its just a question of what I am going to do with the module. When, Oh when, will WowWee release the source code and give me the POWER!?!?
