Boostrap Mode on the RS Media
I've spent the last few weeks trying to figure out how I can download the RS Media's bootloader, so that I can modify it to accept a larger kernel. Unfortunately nothing I tried worked.
So that left me with putting the ARM CPU into bootstrap mode, so that I can run my own code on it from startup. I've though about doing this before for other reasons. Unfortunately it requires figuring out where the boot registers are set on the Main Board, tracing tracks, soldering and unsolder things etc, so I haven't had a good enough reason to try until now.
Which is why I was incredibly lucky that it was the first thing I tried. More details and probably a photo or two to follow.
