This is something I have been meaning to do with my RoboBoa since I first pulled it apart. Basically, take those nice motorized joints and use them to build a rudimentary 3 axis robotic arm. I will call it... BoaArm.

So far I have stripped out the parts I want, which is basically, the main circuit board, all the joints, and the power switch. The rest has been bagged up and will probably end up in a box on a shelf somewhere. After extracting the parts, I went to work on the main circuit board.

It looks like its been nearly 6 months since I last did an update. Interestingly enough, several things have happened in that time. The site has been transition to a new version, and might get a layout change in the near future.

So first up, WowWee's 2008 range has been announced. There are a lot more offerings this year than the last few years. Of particular interest are Rovio and the RoboRemote. Both of these should be interesting to play with when released.
